Nothing is learned in silence, so... let's have the real talk about drugs.
Because addiction can touch anyone, including you!

Why Speak UP?

As moms who have lost their child to substance misuse, like many others have, we could have chose to remain silent in suffering our loss.

However, we believe that nothing is learned in silence. So we choose to stand up and tell our stories of how our child's substance misuse took their lives.

We believe that as you and your community become engaged in conversation with us you'll learn how our current Canadian health care, social, judicial and legal systems have failed both our children and us in keeping them safe. We believe this awareness will affect change.

We offer real choices for practical changes. Changes that we believe will make it possible for other's to not endure our experiences because death by substance use does not just affect the mother, it affects us all.

It's devastation is catastrophic and the affect of each death resounds generationally.
