Former Sault Ste. Marie resident relates her daughter’s tragic opioid addiction and painful last days; Donna May now determined to spread awareness around the planet.

Tough love, Donna May was told, was the only way to treat her adult daughter's drug addiction.
Let her hit rock bottom and, perhaps, she’ll bounce back.
​But Jac did not bounce back. In fact, she died at 35. The exact cause was undetermined, but there was “a number of opioids on board.”
